CODICO® E-1710 - The Compact DSNG / DENG Encoder
Scopus' CODICO® E-1710 combines encoding and modulation in a one rackmounted sized unit to maximize space utilization making it an ideal compact platform for the workhorses of the DSNG market: up-link vans, SUVs and flyaway packages.

The E-1710, with embedded L-band monitoring, offers both satellite and QPSK/8PSK/16QAM/COFDM modulation schemes in a rugged, user-friendly unit to ensure the highest picture quality with steady low power consumption.

CODICO® E-1510 - DSNG Exciter
The CODICO® E-1510 is a professional MPEG-2 DSNG Exciter to serve the emerging needs of mobile news vehicles operators.

The E-1510 integrates encoding and modulating capabilities with an up-converter in a two-unit rackmounted chassis. Designed to fit the requirements of satellite mobile contribution networks, this Scopus encoder contains multi-functions on one board with full SNMP remote management and control and ultra low delay, built-in DVB scrambling BISS standards.

The E-1510 exciter is based upon a 4:2:0 / 4:2:2 encoder, 10/140 MHz modulator and a L/Ku up-converter unit.

Both the E-1710 and E-1510 support specific live broadcasting needs such as ultra low latency mode, variable GOP, BISS-CA, DVB scrambling as well as built-in multiplexing capabilities to enable operators to save expensive rack space that multiplexers can appropriate in mobile newsgathering vehicles.

CODICO® E-1000, Professional high quality MPEG-2 Encoder
The CODICO® E-1000 Encoder is part of the Scopus 3rd generation of MPEG-2, DVB Encoders for digital video broadcasting. The E-1000 is a professional high quality Encoder that applies a state of the art video pre-processor to provide efficient bit rate and buffering control, delivering flexible encoding capabilities and high quality pictures at any given bit rate. It is housed in one unit rackmounted enclosure.

The E-1000 3rd generation Encoder, supports the dynamic change in the world of broadcasting. Various interfaces together with a high performance core, high speed data processing, VBI support and advanced program multiplexer, form a state of the art 3rd generation DVB encoder. A Variable Bit Rate (VBR) mode is available for Statistical Multiplexing operation.

CODICO® E-900, Business MPEG-2 DVB Encoder
The CODICO® E-900 Encoder is part of the Scopus MPEG-2, DVB Encoder Product Line for digital video broadcasting. The E-900 is a basic stand-alone industrial Encoder, affordably priced and ideally suited for applications requiring up to 2/3 D1 resolution and limited upgradeability. It is suitably rich with a variety of output interfaces and housed in an industrial compact 19" one rack mountable enclosure.

The E-900 is designed to meet the demanding requirements of regional cable and telecom distribution, MMDS and distance learning applications, when budgetary considerations are important. The E-900 builds upon Scopus' expertise in the high-end broadcast and business TV markets, and our integrated system capabilities as the CODICO® NMS-4000, CAS-5000 and IRD-2500 product lines.

CODICO® E-90 - Entry Level, MPEG-2 Encoder
CODICO® E-90 is an entry level encoder, affordably priced and ideally suited for CATV applications with limited upgradeability. The E-90 is a 1RU encoder fully compliant with MPEG-2 and DVB standards. It ensures 4:2:0 encoding profile, full D1 resolution and includes a Telco interface option.
