DVStor
is a new product line from Pixelmetrix for MPEG-TS (Transport Stream)
recording and playback. Equipped with two MPEG-ASI interfaces, the
DVStor can record up to 1 Terabyte of MPEG-2 Transport Stream and
simultaneously play back. The 1 Terabyte capacity allows customers to
keep almost three days of MPEG-TS data at a 50 Mbps data rate. The
DVStor is very useful for offline post analysis. Additionally, since it
records all components of a multiplexed broadcast, DVStor is ideal in
situations where the regulatory authority requires long term recording
for compliance verification.
The DVStor can be
tightly integrated with the Pixelmetrix DVStation family of
Preventative Monitoring solutions. Fully synchronized to the DVStation
log system, simply clicking on any error initiates full playback of
this offending data. Tracking down the cause of hard to find problems -
even from days ago - is now easy!
