Getting to yes with Presentation Manager

[Johannesburg, 12 February 2002] - While many companies realise the importance of cross-selling and marketing, they often struggle to find the perfect presentation solution.

Certain presentation tools are often used because of their flexibility and ease of use. But it is this flexibility that results in vastly different presentations by different individuals within a single organisation, resulting in an erratic display of their corporate image. This inconsistency could lead to a dilution of the brand with generally unprofessional looking presentations.

Presentation Manager is Graphic Image Technologies' (GIT) solution to this problem.

This solution allows companies to assemble a presentation component library covering the whole spectrum of services and/or divisions within an entire organisation.

"Presentation Manager allows presenters to build customised presentations through its intuitive drag-and-drop interface using elements from a library combined with our unique template functionality," says Darren Chertkow, general manager at GIT.

"Thus, when building a presentation, the presenter can customise their presentation content to display the exact information that is relevant to a specific client's needs without worrying about having to combine slides, deal with incompatible templates and fonts, or any other consistency issues that arise when using other presentation systems.

"The result is a highly professional custom presentation, compiled within a matter of seconds, and portraying a powerful and consistent image of their organisation."

According to Chertkow, the customisation of information can go as far as integrating quotes, client-specific recommendations, customisable reference lists, and almost any other elements to suit the presenter's needs.

"Besides their prepared presentation, users also have seamless instant access to the full library of content stored within the Presentation Manager system through its intuitive menu structure, enabling them to address any unforeseen questions or problems the client might have, on the spot in a highly professional manner."

In addition, Presentation Manager provides supplementary modules such as template-based bullet modules, immediate quote generation systems, PowerPoint conversion tools, consistent graph generators and automatic print functions.

Says Chertkow: "Content is becoming vital in creating a strong and informed impression. Clients today demand levels of service and comprehensive solutions that can only be provided by a well-informed sales force with an all-encompassing knowledge of their organisation.

"Presentation Manager is an invaluable tool because it not only empowers the different sales and marketing teams within an organisation with the knowledge needed to deliver an educated presentation, but also equips them with the tools and gives them insight to talk about other products or services within their company or division they wouldn't ordinarily know much about.

"This results in the unlocking of potential cross-selling opportunities that were previously very difficult to realise."
